What Division 10 covers
CSI Division 10 collects the specialty items that give a building its character — and in our case, the architectural sunshades, grilles and screens that control how daylight enters and how the facade is composed.
Shading is one of the few envelope decisions that is simultaneously an energy decision and an aesthetic one. A correctly sized sunshade cuts cooling load on the elevations that need it while keeping the daylight that makes a space worth occupying.
